The weather called for storms. More storms actually since they had already seen tropical storms all the week before. That didn't matter to Emily and Brett, it could have been sunny and 90 for all they cared. Their wedding weekend started off in a gorgeous estate with their family and friends right on the Rappahannock River.
As friends and family started to pour into the tiny town of White Stone it was almost like a force to be reckoned with- like I dare you to rain on my friends wedding day. The skies cleared, the sun came out and started to dry up the ground and all of a sudden the only gorgeous rain free day was in fact the wedding day. That's love folks.
The ceremony was held under the gorgeous tall trees, nestled between the estate and the shimmering bay. Dinner was served under a big white tent while a live band serenaded all the guests for hours on end. A donut truck pulled in just as the sun was going down and the aroma of sourdough glazed doughnuts filled the air. Seriously, I'm drooling here.
And can we talk about those bridesmaids outfits for a second. Holy. Moly.
Musical serenades. Whistling trees and shimmering bays. Those are all words that define the weekend and what surrounded you at all times. Southern wedding sweetness at it's finest that i was so honored to be a part of. Love you guys!!
